Enslaved Stares Down An October Release Date

Namco Bandai unleashes a slew of gorgeous new screenshots for Ninja Theory's Enslaved: Odyssey to the West to celebrate the game's shiny new October release date.

I'm ashamed to say I hadn't been paying as close attention to Enslaved as I should, so these new screens really caught me off guard. These are some really striking visuals. I particularly like the one with protagonist Monkey surfing, though that just be due to my natural joy at being able to type the words "monkey surfing."

For more visuals like these, be sure to check out Enslaved: Odyssey to the West when it's released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 5.

Damn- it looks like my October game schedule has already been been decided for me (in early July). This and Vanquish are almost definitely going to be my new games in October. I guess it's a good thing Dead Space 2 was pushed back to 2011...
