Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory's next game, Enslaved, may offer the most pleasant looking post-apocalyptic environment ever, as new screen shots of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game illustrate.
Sure, the environments in Enslaved definitely look dilapidated enough, but they don't have that post-nuclear feel that its end of the world peers have. Namco Bandai still hasn't dated the game, which is apparently based on the 400-year old novel Journey to the West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature—which may explain why the full title of the game is now Enslaved: Odyssey to the West—but it's penciled in for a "fall 2010" window.
That's when you'll enjoy the Hollywood-caliber one-two punch of cut-scene co-directer Andy Serkis of being Gollum fame and "famed novelist and screenwriter," Alex Garland, responsible for 28 Days Later and The Beach.
