Located in Nagoya, Danke Dinning serves up Dragon Ball-themed hot pots (鍋 or “nabe” in Japanese).

The Dragon Balls are made from collagen jelly with little carrot stars molded into the balls. The resulting dish is known as “Dragon Ball Nabe.”

They make them out of collagen....? Isn’t that more commonly used for skincare?

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten collagen jelly before. Does it absorb the flavor of things around it well? Like, will the dragon balls taste like the broth a little, at least? Huh. Now I’m wondering what collagen tastes like.
