The viral compact microphone that’s perfect for content creation

The DJI Mic 3 receiver can hop between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, keeping the signal stable in crowded radio environments like event venues and city streets. Internal 32-bit float recording captures the full dynamic range of incoming audio. High-precision timecode is embedded in the internal recordings, with less than 1 frame of drift over 24 continuous hours of recording, which simplifies multi-camera sync in editing. Mono, stereo, and quadraphonic modes are also available.

The transmitters weigh 16 grams and are around 1.1 inches square. You can attach them to a piece of clothing using the magnetic clip. It has a semi-transparent body with two buttons. One button pairs and the other triggers recording. LED indicators on the mic show you the connection status and remaining battery charge. The mics have around 8 hours of battery life per charge, and the receiver can run for around 10. However, the changing case extends the runtime for both to up to 28 hours.

Transmitters connect directly to many of DJI’s cameras without the need for a receiver. You can connect smartphones by using a USB-C cable and the DJI Mimo app, which also handles additional settings and firmware updates. The charging case stores the components and serves as a hub for internally recorded audio files via a USB-C connection to a computer or phone. Windscreens ship in five different colors to match clothing or shooting environments during interviews and on-camera work.

The sale takes the price of the DJI Mic 3 Wireless Microphone System from $329 list price down to $259, in time for summer content shoots. Anyone building a wireless audio rig for video, podcast, or interview work can pick up the kit now while the discount is active.
