I don’t buy it.

The whole “delete system32” thing is pretty much a myth: The essential runtime files in there are pretty much all system-protected and/or perpetually in-use, so there’s virtually no way to delete them while the computer is running (and anyone with the know-how necessary to do so wouldn’t fall for it).
