Late last month, Tomonobu Itagaki of Valhalla Game Studios revealed his new year's resolution for 2014: "finish Devil's Third." According to a recent interview, this may have been more than just a vague promise.
During their end-of-year developer talk, 4Gamer had a chance to speak with Itagaki about his upcoming third-person shooter. Devil's Third, he said, is currently about 80% done, and should be released at some point next year. "There's still a little more polishing that needs to be done..." he continued. "For you fans out there, I'd like to apologize for making you worry. We'll be going all out next year."
It's been a long journey for the game, laden with multiple delays and a publisher switch. If (and that's a big if) everything goes according to plan, expect to see it sometimes in 2014 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
