Dark Sci-Fi? Move The Levels Themselves? Sure, Let's Do It.

Interference is a platformer about stealth. And darkness. And sci-fi. Oh, and stopping the game to move the levels themselves around.

There's a comment that flashes up during this trailer that says "This is what the Flashback remake should have been". Which pretty much sums it all up.

Interference is currently taking pledges on Indiegogo, but if you want to try it out now, there's also a demo available (with download links at the Indiegogo page).

I HAVE A DREAM

WHERE INDIE GAMES

ARE MORE THAN PRIMARILY PLATFORMERS

Because seriously guys, you're flooding the market, and most of what you're doing just isn't that interesting. Having some clever twist on a tired, played-out genre really isn't going to let you make the next Mario. The only standout indie platformers I've played in recent years have been... what, Fez and Gunpoint? And that's it? Everything else—literally everything else—has sucked. And Gunpoint isn't even really a platformer.

Don't get me wrong, I loooove dat music. And the aesthetic. But... I'm really getting tired of puzzle-platformers. Really, really tired. As in, I don't think I'll ever buy one again. Ever.
