11. Mikan Tsumiki
The Ultimate Nurse, Mikan Tsumiki is another character I fear has potentially reached a ceiling in terms of her role in both Danganronpa 2 and 3. The medical professional in the class acts as a solid support character through the murder cases (except for the one she committed), and she introduces some of the darker truths of the game. I could see 2×2 giving her a bit of a redemption story after the heinous things she does in the main game. But I also fear that Spike Chunsoft might just treat her like a cheesecake factory like they did in every canonical appearance. But hey, I’m open to having those expectations subverted.
