Capcom's Three New Games, Tons Of New Details [UPDATE]

While Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 was certainly the biggest news to come out of last week's Capcom-centric game gathering, it was by no means the only news.

Capcom also revealed that Bionic Commando ReArmed 2 was in development and confirmed that Okamiden was indeed bound for U.S. DSes.

Here's a run down and summary of all of the big news that came out of the event. Keep in mind this is only a digest of the dozens of stories we have coming to you from the event. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3




As predicted, as expected, Capcom's biggest news was the coming of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 next Spring. While the company kept most of the details to themselves, they did talk a bit about the making of the title and what we can expect from it.

It will be a 2.5D fighter running on MT Framework, will include more than 30 characters and hit the PS3 and Xbox 360, they say.

We also believe we have identified more than half of the current roster characters in the game.

Dead Rising 2




It was a pleasant surprise to learn that Dead Rising 2 will indeed have a robust and meaningful plot and, much more importantly, the ability to drop in and out of a friend's campaign to cooperatively work through the game.

We also get an earful about the prequel game coming to the Xbox 360 that will fill in the gaps between Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2.
