It's fiscal reporting season in Japan! And that means fiscal reporting. Latest on the clock is Capcom, who are reporting that, across the board, things are looking up.
Net sales are up 10.6 % from fiscal year 2008 (USD$923 million). Operating income us up 11.4%. Orindary income us up 12.6%. And net income us up 3.3%. In short, everything is up, and Capcom, despite the economic slowdown, are looking OK.
To thank for the upswing in fortunes is the success of both Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV, as well as strong sales of Monster Hunter in Japan.
