Sumthing Else Music Works continues to strengthen its lineup of video game soundtrack offerings, with a deal with Capcom scoring them the scores to Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, Dark Void, and more.
Soundtracks to Capcom's latest games will soon be available for purchase at select retail locations, Sumthing Else Digital, and iTunes as part of a new licensing partnership between the two companies. The deal allows Sumthing Else to offer music from Resident Evil 5, Dark Void, Street Fighter IV, Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Bionic Commando, and Spyborgs. The new music will join previously released Capcom tunes from Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, Devil May Cry 4, and the history of the Resident Evil Series. Release dates for the new soundtracks will be announced at a later time.
Can't say I'm a huge fan of the music from Capcom games, but with Battlestar Galactica's Bear McCreary scoring Dark Void, I might just have to pick that one up.
