Sony is launching two PS Vitas: One is a ¥24,980 WiFi model. The other is a ¥29,980 3G model. Can you tell them apart?

Both are so dam close, your friends won't notice if you spring for the cheaper WiFi model.

Question: Wasn't the Vita announced during E3 to have a $250 option for the cheaper model? according to current conversion rates the WiFi model is sitting at $324 (and 74 cents if you really care about that).

So basically it's about $75 more than the price point of the 3DS that people considered about $50 too high for a portable already, has a possible shorter battery life (3-5 vs 3-8), and at least in America, the 3G is handled by a company people don't particularly like.

Too high a price and groan worthy mistakes...it's like the PS3 launch all over again, except what makes it sadder is that Nintendo just made the SAME DAMN MISTAKES.
