Modern Warfare 2 players growing bored with today's killing technology can get their bloodlust fix in the World War II fashion this week, as Call of Duty: Classic comes to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.

European Xbox Community Manager Graeme "AceyBongos" Boyd says that the remake of the original Call of Duty will set Xbox 360 gamers back 1200 Microsoft Points. Interested gamers should first check to see if they purchased the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2, as a download code should have been included in their copy of the deluxe package.

Keep an eye peeled for confirmation on non-European lands so that you too can enjoy a dozen Call of Duty Classic Achievements.

wow people leave those who don't like MW2 alone! Quit being ignorant and face the fact that MW2's online is broken, mediocer as a shooter can get, and very bland!

I picked up the game expecting it to be like CoD4 if not better! I was very dissapointed considering I played games as good as Uncharted 2 to as shitty as Matt Hazard... MW2 multiplayer is about as bland as Matt Hazard! However the Spec-Ops and the campaing are AMAZING! Though I can't help but be sicked at the fact IW destroyed the multiplayer portion of MW2..... makes me already miss W@W!

Deciding to get the standard edition of MW2 over Prestige edtion at the midnight launch was the best descion I have aver made at eb! Lets not talk about how badly done the game cases are. Don't get me started there! I was however suckered into getting the prestige edition of the stratagy guide as a "collecters item" but what ever!

I'm curently enjoying Assassins Creed II and Uncharted 2 online!
