Perhaps because it features environments that are wet, rather than covered in ice, Britons flocked last week to stores to get hold of BioShock 2, which has promptly knocked Just Dance from the nation's video gaming pedestal.

The 360 version took top honours for the week, while the PS3 came in at #3. Even the PC version did OK, at #13, which is pretty high for a PC game in the UK.

The only thing that really stuck out is the ME2 and MAG. No staying power == no steady influx of income for those publishers. I guess game developers have more reasons to make simple and casual titles than trying to produce something equivalent to a movie blockbuster. Just Dance will still be top 10 when Bioshock 2 drops below top 10 list next month (or week whenever this thing comes out).
