A new version of Link demands a new ridiculously adorable Nendoroid figure from Japan’s Big Smile Company. Breath of the Wild Link is so cute I just want to eat his face. That’s okay, he has extras.
Revealed over at Kahotan’s Good Smile Blog. Nendoroid Link: Breath of the Wild Editionis the next evolution of a series that started with the more form factor-appropriate Wind Waker Link. Link is decked out in his blue duds, all done up with incredible detail, from the patterns on the sleves the the red and green accents of the bracers.
As with other Link figures in the Nendoroid line, this one comes with interchangeable face sculpts. One is the furiously shouting face, framed by those spectacular sideburn tufts above.
The other depicts a Link that’s calm, cool and collected as he pours over his Shiekah Slate. That’s right, the Breath of the Wild Link Nendoroid comes complete with his special in-game tablet, as well as his bow, arrow and quiver, sword, shield and sheath.
Not enough for you? Fine. Try this.
The DX Edition of Nendoroid Link: Breath of the Wild edition not only gives Link a horse to ride an a killer cloak to rock, it’s also packing a club, an axe and a chicken leg.
A CHICKEN LEG.
Now how much would you pay? I’m thinking something like $50 for the normal version, $65 for Chicken Leg Link, though I could be wrong. The new figures go up for preorder on the Good Smile Company website tomorrow, so we’ll know more about pricing and release date then.
In the meantime, head over to Kahotan’s for more pictures of this tubby lil’ guy in action.
