Borderlands 2 Serves Up a Thanksgiving-Themed Episode Next Week

As only it could do, Borderlands 2 is desecrating a sacred family tradition for millions with its next wildass set of missions, "The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler." available on Tuesday for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It sounds nuts.

The pretext for all of its Thanksgiving imagery is a "hunger-themed competition," being hosted by Mr. Torgue, accompanied by his Grandma Flexington, who is just as ripped and belligerent as he is. Players are tasked with hunting down an enormous turkey, the aforesaid Wattle Gobbler, which you can see above.

The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler is the second installment of the Headhunter add-on, and runs $2.99. (It's £2.39 and €2,99 in the lands from which the pilgrims fled the persecution of their belief in Thanksgiving.) Europe and Australian PS3 users will have to wait until Wednesday to download it. The Detroit Lions won't be able to play it until Friday.
