BlazBlue Goes 3D, Cute With BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale

Nintendo DSi owners will get their own brand of BlazBlue beat 'em up action with BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale, an adorably super-deformed spin-off based on Arc System Works' fighting game series.

The DSiWare download was released in Japan as BlazBlue: Battle x Battle earlier this year and it appears that the four-player brawler will be making its way to North America. BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale was recently rated by the ESRB, describing it as "an arena-fighter game in which players control small, stubby fighters that compete in fighting matches: last-man standing, hitting opponents to collect soba noodles, and capture-the-flag."

Looks like a chibi spin on the Super Smash Bros. and Powerstone formula, with an equally cute and original name.

...BlayzBloo? Seriously? Come on, these name changes are getting really bad. They didn't need to change this one at all. I'd like Kotaku to find out the reasoning behind the name change for this and Looksley's Line Up.....
