BBC Leaks Doctor Who Teaser for PS3, Vita, PC

A Doctor Who video game is being developed for PS3 and PlayStation Vita, according to a teaser trailer that the BCC evidently published prematurely, then removed, on Thursday.

Entitled Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, the text accompanying the video said that "Gamers can take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they explore the universe of Doctor Who over multiple time periods."

The game is being built by Supermassive Games, which was responsible for the "Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves" downloadable content for LittleBigPlanet 2. Logos at the end of the trailer also say the Doctor Who game will have a PC version.

I know that I only speak for myself in saying this, but I give exactly zero fucks for Matt Smith as the Doctor in comparison to the other two modern iterations.

That being said, a Doctor Who game should be 6 parts point-and-click adventure, 2 parts action, and 1 part wit. Sadly, with the way video games are made, it will probably be 8 parts fps, 1 part wit, and 1 part unnecessary multiplayer.

I really do hope that this game turns out to be something I want to play, because I really enjoy the Doctor Who series, even if I'm not a huge fan of Matt Smith.
