The Batman "Black & White" series of statues are, for the record, some of the most sought-after collectibles around. For good reason: they usually look incredible. And now there's' one based on Arkham Asylum!
A friend of mine has one based on Hellboy creator Mike Mignola's take on Batman and it's the bees knees. This one, it's the bat's knees, as it does a great job of bringing the large, hulking Batman found in 2009's surprise hit game to life.
Forget those crummy 6-inch figures we showed you last week; this guy is insanely-detailed, right down the the seams on his suit.
He's out in August, and will sell for USD$80.
UPDATE - Having first seen this back in 2010, and now seeing this report saying it was due out in August 2011, I assumed the statue had been delayed. Turns out it was released last year, sold out, and this is a re-release. So if you missed out first time, get on it!
