@KaneRobot: Yeah, I was pretty surprised (and kind of depressed) to see Gears 2 above bfbc2. I can't really talk though, I haven't been back to battlefield in a couple of months since all these xbla drops have hitting (super meat boy, pinball fx2, and now the new pac-man CE). Read more

@dmcshinobi: My all time favorite. Even metroid, castlevania, legend of zelda, contra, kid icarus, and ikari warriors can't hold a candle to my love of blaster master! Read more

@Uchikoma: Hmm, I assumed they were a third party developer, not an official ms studio; guess I should have looked it up first. Read more

If this is true and does come to pass, I wonder what Turn 10 (forza developers) would do next. Go multiplat and hope for the best? Read more

Is auto-aim partly to thank for that, or was that just some complete fluke that the grenade flew directly centered at that enemy? Read more

I kind of agree with shouryuuken; I wouldn't say any of those are my 'game of the year'. But from those choices I'd have to go with RDR, just for doing something different and more fresh. Really, every other nominee is a sequel (or prequel I guess for Reach). Read more

Got enough Fallout with 3. I can wait on this one until all patches and dlc are rolled up into a goty edition. Read more

I don't think of myself as a tinfoil hat kind of guy but there are a couple of things I've seen lately that kind of bug me. The first was the story yesterday about a microsoft executive touting the kinect's abilities to basically gather data about a user and their habits, presumably to better tailor advertising. @dumlaox: Yeah, like archaotic said, that's the standard pricing for pinball fx tables - 200ms pts ($2.50). So $10 for all 4 tables. I hope you can buy them separately but I have a feeling it will be a package like the $10 fx2 tables (biolab, secrets of the deep, pasha, and rome). Read more

@oosiegewolfoo: I felt this way too. Which is strange because I played so much burnout (also from criterion). I just couldn't get excited about anything going on in the demo. Read more

I have apparently gone on a monster buying spree this past week. Picked up Rock Band 3, Super meat boy, bunch of tables for the new Pinball FX2, and then PvZ and Titan Quest on steam (I'm such a sucker for steam sales). Read more

Not sure how this will play out. 1 vs 100 had some special elements that made it well suited to this type of 'large scale multiplayer'. But online poker, I mean, there are plenty of places to play that already, both free and for money. I think this service will have to bring some extra 'something' in order to make it Read more

@Taggart451: Congrats! I roped my wife into submitting 6 codes daily as I am doing. I'll be right there with ya eventually! Read more

@SanaEquiesterer: I think it's supposed to be some kind of status readout/hud display. But where it's positioned it's not always in her face bugging her; she'd only see it when she glanced down for a quick look at whatever it is displaying. Read more

Hey, any 360 Pinball FX2 players that are currently digging all the new tables and multiplayer scoring and stuff? I was hoping to add some kotaku folks as friends to start working on Wizard scores, playing multiplayer, etc. If so, add me - gamertag Morph Mode. Read more
