t's fitting that Kotaku is doing PC week this week, because right now Steam is absolutely killing me (or more accurately, my wallet). Read more

This is why I didn't stick with RDR multiplayer. I never once got into a game where anyone wanted to do anything other than run around throwing tomahawks at each other. I was able to stay out of the madness and do a hideout and some challenges on my own and got enough xp to stop riding a donkey. Read more

They must have tried to get him to pre-order something or buy a $20 strategy guide with his new copy of Kirby's Yarn or something... Read more

I am now looking forward to Guild Wars 2 even more than bioware's Old Republic game. Thanks to everything arenanet has written and the Ghosts of Ascalon novel, I am getting a real sense for their world; the history, the races, how their magic and technology work, etc. Read more

@the7k: Well Guardian Heroes is Treasure (as you probably know) so sega couldn't remake that if they wanted to. Now fighter's megamix I loved and absolutely played the hell out of, but we've already got VF5 and I don't know if there is anyone really crying themselves to sleep at night about no fighting vipers sequels. @GoldVrod: Dunno, Cool Spot was a pretty awesome game in the genesis days. I'm pretty sure there was a ronald mcdonald game too. And let's not forget the burger king xbla games. Read more

@darkboy1200: I was going to say something about Shogo but I figured someone would already have posted about it. Scroll down and voila! Read more

@dowingba: I actually played core usually, and I wasn't so worried about the end-game units usually. The biggest pain (back when multiplayer was on dialup) was arm swarms of Brawlers causing massive lag. You'd get a huge spike, then when the game started again half your base was gone. So glad when they added those Read more

@SupaKero: Definitely; mine too. Fond memories of actually beating the game with 5 other friends — we vowed to just keep dropping quarters until we took down Magneto. spawn - use mutant power - die, repeat :) Read more

@Walking Eye!: I just like that both comments are from people with venture brothers references in their name or avatar. Then I had to come in and ruin it. But on xbla my gamer pic is Brock Samson, that counts right? Read more

@endy_n_omni: Yeah, like last week, it was $10 instead of $20. And last october when I bought it they had a crazy 72 hr sale where it was $2.50 (yes, two dollars and fitty cent). Read more

@R0bster: Yeah, I saw that yesterday. Definitely thinking about it, although I wasn't wild about l4d2 when I had it for the 360. I'm sure it's a much improved experience on the pc though. Read more

So for the past several months my xbox playing has dropped off considerably; coinciding with an increase in pc gaming. Read more

@Andrew Wyatt: Wow that sounds pretty amazing (snoopy flying ace dlc). Are folks playing that? I seem to remember reviews saying things like 'it's a great game that won't get nearly the popularity it deserves' Read more

@Cassius!: Yeah, I stopped using mine because I couldn't 'direct-hit' for squat. I switched back to the standard launcher for bigger explosions. Read more

I downloaded the demo of this just the other night because it was so highly rated in the indie games section. It was really a lot of fun and had a very slick presentation. Easily worth a buck! Read more

I played the crap out of Ultima IV... there was so much to discover. Little secret doors (look for the bricks with the extra pixel in it!) I think I only completed one or two of the 8 avatar dungeons. I remember discovering the portal gates that let you cut out all that overland travel. And at one point I sort of set Read more
