Funnily enough, Sedecordle is the step too far that breaks it and makes it easy again! If you use four starting words containing unique letters, then it’s pretty formulaic to go through and enter the 16 correct answers in turn. It’s not an unpleasant experience to do so, but it removes the Wordleness of it. Read more
Yes, the UK version is WEIRD. It’s all over the place, with confusing muddles of word lengths, etc. It’s pretty typical for a main channel UK quiz show - we’re very afraid of the calm, sensible nature of the Jeopardy-likes, and such programmes tend to be on the smaller terrestrial (as was) channels.
