I took my wife to go see it on Friday and by the end, she was on the verge of tears. She finally broke when we saw these young girls dressed like the Dora Milaje. She was so proud to see little girls have heroes that look that them and be represented is such a positive way.

I thought it was fun AF. Probably because I’m a huge sci fi fan (Not to be confused with someone who complains about almost all scifi movies/shows post-Battlestar) and love me some Chris O’dowd. Also really enjoyed the concept to have 3 completely separate stories all parallel the same event that’s occurring. Read more
I love the Cloverfield movies and this was deeply mediocre and performed the completely pointless task of explaining how they all fit together. That said, my wife and I still watched the whole thing and enjoyed it, even as I mentally noted problem after problem (the centrifugal force “artificial gravity” wouldn’t work… Read more
Enjoyed it, but I would be interested to see what the non-Cloverfield “The God Particle” would have looked like. Then again, without the name and marketing gimmick there’s a chance I wouldn’t have heard about it in the first place, let alone seen it.
