Seasons 4-8 are where it's at. Every great show has this peak where they found their stuff. Rick and Morty did it instantly. Family Guy had it for 3 seasons. South Park was in its prime from Season 3 to Season 6. Read more

In general, seasons 4-8 are consistently excellent. The best eps are almost always written by John Swartzwelder, too. Lots of great deadpan and ironic humor. The stories and characters start to get a little ridiculous around Season 9 and I lost interest. Read more
