The UI holds it back. If the system was beefier the interface would probably be seamless and I think that's one of Wii U's biggest flaws. I like MiiVerse, though, mostly, as you mentioned, to look at the fan art of very talented drawers. Read more

This episode gave me a deep hatred for Bill Carver, to the point where I didn't pay attention to most of the flaws you mention. The "mash Q and then press E" or whatever the equivalent is on consoles is admittedly tiresome but it's a small annoyance to get through the story. Read more
