Depends on what the solution is and what runners think is viable. If the can narrow it down to certain seeds, that’s less of a problem but I’ve also seen someone suggest a method to “scramble” the game’s code until arrival in the puzzle rooms. I mean, yeah? I suck at math but that’s something like 600 puzzle solutions that you need to know, arranged into highly precise orders with multiple solutions that are 4 digit sequences. It can be done but it’d take a lot of time to learn.

It’s a 99 potential sequences with multiple puzzles to track on each. Many of those solutions are number sequences unto themselves. That’s a lot for one person to memorize. Read more

I saw a very limited version of this at GDC and I gotta say I would mess around with this game just for the effect of having the hexes pop up like they do when you hit new areas. Really looking forward to this one!
