I think it depends on what you’re in the mood for. I do think that the game can feel aimless and unfocused in a way that affect pacing. The disconnected nature of the stories can feel strange at times too. If you’re looking for a tightly focused narrative, I’m not sure you’ll find it here.

I’ve really enjoyed myself, yeah. I’m about 30 hours in and I’m hooked on the battle system. I think the characters are nice too, if a bit cliche. But having these little details from the Inquire/Scrutinize ability really helps the world seem like a place with people in it. It’s such a little thing but it helps a lot. Read more

I thought the gameplay itself worked out well, especially during the big horde sections. I might be turned off by what, for now, seems to be a pretty standard setting and aesthetic but if theres solid writing linking things together, it might be alright.

It’s something I’ve been looking into. It’s not entirely up to me though. For instance, Univision initially had a deal with Facebook that required us to stream on Facebook Live a certain number of times a week. Wherever we go, if that happens, I’d want it to be a place with good moderation tools at the very least.
