Sort of. The weapon mastery quests helped to equalize the metagame although he’s definitely still useful. Effie and other armored units are a bigger right now in arena at the moment. Read more

I’ve had notoriously good luck with hero acquisition. They tossed us five orbs today and I pulled a five star Jaffar. Having new ways to get feathers isn’t the biggest deal for me considering how much arena I play but I think it will be nice for other folks. Read more

When presented with the choice between being a pessimist or optimist, I’m going to choose the latter. Maybe these games are just a drop in a big ass ocean. But if even one person does some reflection or feels something because of something they’ve played here, I think that means it was worth it. Read more

We can have both. Creators can spread message of resistance in art and folks can march in the street. Hell, creators can march in the street as well. That’s the nice thing about the world; it’s nuanced and not a zero sum space. Read more

Mileage varies for everyone and we all bring a little of ourselves to a game when we play. As I’ve noted in the piece, this didn’t necessarily upset or anger me. Comfortable trillings for when you are traversing the country side. One of the nicer and more appreciated little things in the game. Even if it wasn’t enough for me to mention in the piece itself. Read more

I think Wildlands wants to be a lot of things at once. It wants to be Crackdown, it wants to be Far Cry, it wants to be Operation Flashpoint, it wants to be GTA Online... and on and on and on.. Read more
