I wouldn’t be surprised to see more incentives added for progression beyond the codices. Additional ranks and special ribbons feel like a golden opportunity to toss in weapon skins for particular milestones. Fingers crossed on some neat guns too down the road. Read more

Haha. I really disliked the centipede. It’s actually one of the few bosses early on that really gave me trouble. I kept running out of antidote. Read more

Some of the big boss fights are really nice. I think the game starts off really strong with Onryoki and Umi-bozu is pretty wild. But Muneshige felt like such a breath of fresh air. Read more

You’re in luck! Yakuza 0 is a prequel. Knowing the other games makes some references stand out but otherwise, you don’t really need to have played the series to enjoy this game. Read more
