As another interesting point of comparison a bunch of other publishers are running sales on the eShop at the moment. Mario + Rabbids, for example, is down to $20 without any extra hoops. 

That’s also an option. The vouchers are sold through the eShop so in theory you can purchase eShop cards from Target or Amazon using one of those stores’ credit cards to get additional savings.  Read more
