They actually brought up Aer to me.

“I do think that the sort of bird child genre is getting crowded. No one would have said that in 2014 right?”

Although they also mentioned that they think they approach flight from a different perspective and it’s not central to the game in the same way as Aer. Read more

Hahaha I have no idea who would buy it but I’m glad it exists. I guess if you’re a BIG classic Xbox fan and have the cash. At that point though, the old console and accessories are bargain bin. Might as well go authentic. Read more

At this point anything prior to PS4/Xbox One seems fair game. I think it’s fine and this is a game I’d love to get the chance to play on current systems, and at least Microsoft seems intent on making sure this gen’s stuff will be compatible on the next set of hardware, so this kind of just future proofs the game. I’d forgotten the game does that. God I love Chrono Trigger so much. Games that are able to fold dying into their story, or at least use it to build out the lore are great. I remember wishing Hellblade did more of that since the game over cycle in that feels extremely out of sync with the rest of the game. Read more

Yea, that’s a very important point re: saving. I spent a while trying to figure out how to save and was like “why’s there only a Save & Exit option?”
