Damn. I have always loved Piccolo since I was a kid, but I never considered that maybe a big reason why I like him was because he was the other/black/POC coded character in that show. Makes me like him even more honestly now that I can view him in that way. I always just vibed with him way more than anyone else. Read more

I am always a bit weirded out by how much native English speakers focus on tiny differences on pronouncing vowel sounds (that to me are either indistinguishable or almost entirely down to accent) but then very consistently just take a wild guess at any foreign-looking word even if the language in question is strictly Read more

I lost my little brother last year due to a recurrence of his cancer. I didn’t watch Technoblade but I did watch the video his family posted.

Heartbreaking is the only way to describe it. More so when you can relate with the idea that such a young life is no longer with us. It’s still hard to come to grips with the Read more

I fear the comments that are coming, but thank you for pushing back on this garbage. The trial was a nasty hateful carnival where everybody clearly relished the opportunity to weaponize their misogyny with no reservations, and I’m sorry for all the women that behavior pressured into silence. As someone who is indifferent, but leans slightly towards not wanting the souls games to have an easy mode, I’m glad this mod exists. Let people do what they want when the dev doesn’t has to be involved.  Read more

The whole chase sequence, I was shouting “TETSUOOOOO!” in my Kirby voice and it gave be a profound sense of fulfillment.

That int requirement is a bummer. You really pretty much have to spec for the weapon. Maybe respeccing isn’t a big deal though... I haven’ tried it.  Trying to pump around 12 levels into a stat when you are a bit further through the game is a ton of runes.

Congrats to you all. I did my (tiny) part by not reading on any GMG sites. I’m really glad the strike is over because I missed the articles. Read more

That’s really fucking dope, congrats. :) Read more

Playing Breath of the Wild first and then playing Horizon, motion aiming was definitely something that I really wanted. Really nice for fine tuning your aim. Controller was capable of it, so could’ve been in there. Glad to see they added it in for the sequel! Read more

On console, after having played Breath of the Wild and Splatoon using gyro-control felt really good. Even in Pokemon Legends Arceus, hopping out of water to aim for a tiny pokemon in the water using gyro, so much easier than using sticks.   Read more
