I actually just finished True Colors last night. It is an absolutely incredible game. I can’t remember the last time I was as emotionally invested in a video game character as I was in Alex. I didn’t know that it was all done with motion capture, but now that I know it makes total sense why all the characters felt so Read more

I’m not black so I can’t speak to the specifics of feeling like a black character in a game strikes the right chord or feels right. (But I understand it’s important, so I’m happy to see games like this pulling it off!)

I’m very excited about this announcement. When I first saw the animated trailer it seems like they were hinting at her being playable, and now that it is confirmed I have more hope that my feelings about Splinter in that trailer might mean he’s also playable. Read more

For me, this game is almost therapeutic in its exploration. You’re right that the enemies are mainly to be avoided where possible, but there’s something cool about being in a hostile world/dimension where you can infect enemies and seek out every nook and cranny for secrets you missed or places you couldn’t reach Read more

This was absolutely the biggest problem with this game. If you were already burned out on the standard open world, copy/paste mission structure than this game would do absolutely nothing for you gameplay wise. Read more

I thought the story was cool but man...you invade one bandit camp/do a fox shrine, you’ve done them all. Platinuming the game was a headache and a half. Read more
