I simplified a bit to avoid describing every beat of this battle, but after using Dark Void the Smeargle used a rather weak water attack (don't recall what it was) that hit both Hawlucha and Dragonite for a small amount of damage. That's when the Red Card activated. Of course the item itself did not directly boost Read more

One of the Kinect's much-touted features is that it can quickly read QR codes, which will theoretically save players a ton of time when it comes to entering download codes and the like. But after trying on two separate Kinects, we couldn't get it to read QR codes off of phones, suggesting that it might only be able to Read more

One cool addition: The Xbox One's triggers can each rumble independently down along the controller's grips, which allows some games to convey a surprising range of physical feedback. It's very old school, turn-based, first-person like the dungeon crawling. You choose an attack for each of your four characters (lots of customization there) and the turn plays out. Rinse, repeat. I like it a lot. Exploring the dungeons and drawing the maps is fun too, although it occasionally gets a bit tedious. Read more

Might be worth it for Pokemon, Etrian Odyssey IV, Monster Hunter, and Zelda: LttP2 to be honest. I'm sure there are others I'm missing. But those (besides Zelda) allow for pa-lenty of grinding. Read more
