Right, that's what I'm curious about. Although if the console is region-free, how would a disk know which region it was being played in? The whole issue with the 360 is that the console's are region-specific, thus the games are built to work with that specific console. Read more

Er.... I was summarizing the Xbox One reaction as a whole, not my personal opinion. And I thought I was agreeing with you, not sure where your reaction is coming from Read more

No, it's more like, "Finally, you listened! Now I'm going to bitch that you listened and make fun of you for back peddling" Read more

That's really cool, especially the ability to convert your console into a debug console. I'm feeling pretty good about my Xbox One preorder right now, will feel even better if/ when family sharing comes back. Read more

I totally missed that Xbox One became region-free. Does that mean I'll be able to import and play Japanese games? Read more

That's only true if you're so immature that you need to learn those lessons in the first place. Read more

I disagree with that. Breaking up is part of growing up, and helps you grow and mature as a person. Unless you are continuously finding yourself in abusive or dangerous relationships, suggesting that someone makes bad decisions because they have a few exes is incorrect. I'm better for each breakup that I had (and am Read more

What seems trivial exactly? Mourning a breakup in a certain way? Finding details of your old relationship in unexpected places (video game save files, in this case)? Read more

I love that 2K does this, it's just a shame that their baseball games are such garbage. There's something seriously wrong when a game that came out almost a decade ago (MVP Baseball) is still a superior product. Read more

I can see that thinking, but I'd argue that it wasn't forced in that you could buy a PS4 if you didn't like it. Forced in a true sense would be if they suddenly announced that the 360 would suddenly require online check-ins. Read more

I'm still convinced that if Xbox One had stuck to their original plan, there would have been a similar change of opinion over the years. Read more

Are you seriously comparing the inclusion of a feature in a video game console to someone holding a gun to your head? Read more

I'll vouch for that as well. Watched him do it in spring training bp and up in Seattle. It's insane watching a 160 lb guy hit baseball that far consistently. Baseball should absolutely put him in the home run derby. Read more

You might not be the only one, but you're in a small minority at best. Toy Story 3 is the closest I've come to crying in public when I saw it in theaters. Read more

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is the mecca of terrible PC gaming. If you can stomach it, that's the one to try. Read more

and yet I have fonder memories about it than a lot of good or decent games that I've played. But it really is trash Read more

Whatever works best for you. Ultimately the goal is still to have fun, even if that fun is derived from gawking at how terrible a game is, so whatever gets you there is what you should do! Read more

Check out Deadly Premonition then, I think it would be right up your alley Read more

Did you see the part about Gamestop? You can buy a bad used game there and return it within seven days for a full refund. It's a used copy, so if you're somehow concerned that a company would receive positive affirmation by you picking their game up, worry not. Read more

I definitely did, but Quest of the Dragon left the most lasting impression. There were plenty of shitty games that I played on the NES, SNES and N64, but none that I had looked forward to or been as disappointed with as Quest. Read more
