Another new showreel of Disney Plusās upcoming shows has appeared, and alongside new glimpses of Daredevil, Ironheart and Alien: Earth, the first ever footage of Andor season 2 can be seen.
Following the Marvel sizzle reel that appeared at the end of October, Disney Plus has released a bundle of clips of a lot of upcoming shows, and the most important thing is: we get to see Andor in Andor
The clips begin with season four of The Bear, back unabashed after the critical kicking the third season received, and the collective annoyance of all in television for its insistence on entering itself for comedy gongs at the Emmys. Then we get another few clips of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which only recently received a full trailer, and I am still wondering why no oneās talking about how this is overtly a show aimed at children, and yet is being rated 12+.

Thereās a very brief glimpse of Paradise, which is neither last yearās Netflix movie Paradise, nor Tubiās 2024 movie Paradise, but rather a new series starring Sterling K. Brown as the former security guard to a recently murdered American president. This then jarringly shifts into footage of David Schwimmer in Januaryās Goosebumps movie, The Vanishing. Then, far more excitingly, we get to see some Alien: Earth, the TV series set in the Alien universe, created by my favorite showrunner, Noah Hawley (Bones, Fargo, Legion).
Thereās a new but extremely brief appearance by Marvel series Ironheart, a few seconds of Daredevil, and then, crikey, Chad Powers. This is a new comedy created and written by, and also starring, everyoneās new favorite beefcake, Glen Powell. Itās based on the Eli Manning character from Eliās Places, and is about a college quarterback who loses his place on his team due to bad behavior, so creates an alter-ego, Chad Powers, disguises himself, and joins a struggling Southern team. Even weirder is how much the disguised Powell looks like Parker from Gold Rush

Thereās a moment of a new show that has no online presence called Good American Family, that looks all sorts of weird, and then, finally, the one weāre waiting for, Andor
Itās just 11 seconds, but we get to see once again what makes Andor stand out from so many of Disneyās TV showsāitās shot on huge sets, and not a Volume stage. Thereās big, open spaces! There are Stormtroopers! There are people telling Andor he needs to be a leader now, which he really obviously wonāt want to be. Thereās very little more to glean from it for an amateur like me, but you know the pros will be poring over this for every hidden detail. Hereās the section clipped out:

Oh, and after Andor we see some Percy Jackson and the Olympians season two, like anyone was still noticing.
So, get speculating.
