This odd bit of bragging aired during recent WWE programming, part of the wrestling company's practice of flashing statistics about how great it is after commercial breaks. Maybe they're talking about series performance? Because beating NBA Live in a year without NBA Live ain't impressive.
Can I add that Pro wrestling is just a shadow of their former selves. They are still using that old formula from the attitude era (90;s) that boomed, but now it just seems so gaudy and cheesy.
I mean there is no innovation what so ever, no change.
The treatment of the athletes fromthe brutal schedule, to the amount of damage they take etc. hasn't changed either.
Shamus has got to be one of the worst heels i have ever seen win the WWE belt.
enough can be said a bout john cena and the general WTF-ness about his popularity.
Also include the fact that they are trying to do 13 PPV's a year which is way too many. which leads to some of the matches not being as important as they could be.
Pro wrestling.....used to be awesome....but they need to evolve or they will slowly die a painful death...in the US at least japan is a different story.
