Colors! is an app for the 3DS, Vita and mobile which lets you create artwork. Like these awesome pieces which, while low-resolution, are still a sight to behold.

They were all drawn by Techno-Bits, an “untrained, and self-taught artist only using a 3ds looking to further [his] skills,” who “digitally paints many things around the pop world and would soon like to make [his] hobby a career.” I’d say that is an excellent idea.

That really is good stuff. So... does this now make the 3DS the cheapest viable art tablet available?

I mean, good enough that you can poke at the screen and have the point be near enough to where you poked it to be able to create something with good enough accuracy to properly realise what you’re trying to create.
