You like fantasy, right? You like strategy gaming, right? You like questing with other humans over the internet, right?
This is Dawn of Fantasy, an upcoming MMORTS by Reverie World Studios. That's a massively-multiplayer online real-time strategy game. It's a mouthful, but it basically means you will be able to — in theory, at least — wage war against your enemies (or friends) across a persistent online campaign map.
It'll work like a pleasant blend of the two genres: there'll be quests on offer for you and your friends, but instead of collecting ten rats, you'll have to send out armies and win battles.
There's also a singleplayer element to the game, but really, the draw here will be in that you can take land off your friends instead of the AI.
Dawn of Fantasy will be out on PC and Xbox 360 later this year.
