At E3, Nintendo revealed it has an all-new Super Mario adventure built specifically for the 3DS, arriving on store shelves by the year's end.
A short video following the announcement showed Mario and Luigi in action in 3D platforming levels, some with shifted perspectives, that used longtime series motifs and new elements altogether.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime called Super Mario the "first 3D Mario adventure created from scratch."
