Kotaku reader Kearneybobs was deep into the third chapter of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow when he stumbled upon a scroll on the body of a dead knight. It spoke of a warrior coming to slay a Lycan lord, and a strange woman who delivered the message.

Possible Minor Spoilers (PMS):

I'm playing on the medium difficulty (Knight?) and this game is absurdly difficult. I'm on the first Colossus (Titan?) fight and I keep dying in three hits trying to avoid his swipe while I'm balanced on his forearm. I just want more combat and less boring traversal. That swamp level with tedious-as-fuck swamp slogging was such a pace killer in the beginning.

Soundtrack and voice acting are amazing, though, so I hope I can get into this game.
