With interior art by Chris Mitten, covers by Ben Templesmith, and a story Ian Edginton, Wildstorm's Kane & Lynch comic book series could do a better job at capturing the duo's manic action than the video games do.
One look at those lovely Templesmith covers for issues one and three tells me that Wildstorm might have out Kane & Lynch'd developer IO Interactive. The work is raw and sinister, with an edge of insanity that crisp video game graphics couldn't hope to replicate. The feel carries over to Mitten's interiors as well. This could definitely be an example of a video game tie-in comic book I enjoy more than the game itself.
The first issue of Kane & Lynch goes on sale on August 4.
