With the release of the Michael Bay-produced Ninja Turtles movie (which appears to be getting a critical stomping), now is as good a time as any to take a trip down memory lane to see where this all began.
The people at Vulture put together a brief video refresher of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for everybody who hasn’t been keeping up with them. It’s a weird history that includes a lot of questionable choices (Uncle Phil and Vanilla Ice), but that’s kinda what makes the franchise so special.
