People Who Went to the Moon in the Destiny Beta

Over the weekend Bungie released a detailed infographic with some cool statistics from the Destiny beta. A few of note:

• 851,264 players went to the moon
• 1969 claimed to land on the moon but faked it (get it?)
• 777,000 players also used the Destiny companion app
• 3.7 billion kills were logged (more than half the population of Earth) over nine days

These stats are impressive to say the least, and they help give an idea of just how popular the beta was. If these figures translate into real sales, Bungie may yet have a big hit come September 9^th.
