It's a whole new world of shopping convenience tomorrow on the PlayStation Portable, with the 5.50 system update making it that much easier to browse the PlayStation Store.

Dropping tomorrow, the 5.50 system update for the Sony PSP allows unregistered users to browse the latest games, demos, and wallpapers in the PlayStation Store. You'll still need an account to actually make purchases, however, which means that this is pretty much a way to allow people reluctant to create an account to see what they're missing.

The new update will also allow PSP users to access the PlayStation Network's Information Board directly from their handheld's XrossMediaBar, again allowing them to see what they could be buying were they so inclined.
