Bayonetta as a shmup; Dead Space on the Game Boy; and Brutal Legend as, what else, a graphical adventure. There isn't a single miss among this gallery of de-makes done over the past couple of years by Swedish artist Junkboy.
Some of these aren't new and may have been published elsewhere before. But they're all here in one place, and despite their small size, are full of detail waiting to be studied.
Red Dead Redemption done in a Gun.Smoke style was kind of funny, at least to me. Capcom's other western? Red Dead Revolver, which it dropped and sold to Rockstar.

DISCUSSION
I'm seeing a lot of comments saying some variation of "games should go back to this" or "I wish games were still like this, these are all better than their counterparts" or "I would buy all of these over their counterparts in a second." I just don't get it.
Aside form the fact that we're looking at ONE imaginary screenshot...
I get the nostaligia factor, but... I'm pretty sure that if games were still looking and playing like this, then - for the most part - everyone would be complaining about how "Games aren't evolving," and how "It's all the same." And every E3, we'd be rolling our eyes at "*Sigh*, aNOTHER 2-d side-scrolling platforming shooter... oh, great, ANOTHER 16-bit turn-based RPG..."
