Double Fine’s Broken Age, the adventure game that launched a million video game Kickstarter campaigns, is getting a physical release next month on PlayStation 4 and Vita, courtesy of Limited Run Games. Both versions go on sale June 9 for $29.99, and will likely sell out very quickly.
I dont really get why they limit the numbers they put out so much, i mean i get they brand themselves on the limited nature of their releases but i dont see how that benefits anyone but scalpers.
It just seems weird to have to sit there on launch hitting refresh for some titles or pay way over the odds on ebay a week later. Its good that otherwise digital only titles are seeing a physical release but i feel like im missing something as to why they release the numbers they do when they always seem to sell out so quickly. Anyone have any idea?
