The Week In Games: Show Biz Yakuza

Illustration for article titled The Week In Games: Show Biz Yakuzaem/em

Some games just wanna have fun.

If you don’t believe me, take a look at this. Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the rest of the series, so theoretically it should make more sense for those of us hopping on the bandwagon so late in the game, except probably not.

Remember that time the Yakuza supposedly killed a high stakes gambler who almost bankrupted the Trump empire? Me neither. But it’s just the kind of macabre glitz I’d expect from a series famous for its romance and round-house kicks to the neck.

I preordered Yakuza 0. I’ve never played the series but read a lot of great things and hope I have no regrets.
