Shroud of the Avatar, Richard Garriott's recently Kickstarted spiritual sequel to his Ultima RPG series, looks pretty damn good considering it's currently just an early prototype. Here, Garriott narrates a short 11-minute walkthrough of some of the game's features they've been working on in the past few months.
What's wrong with his leg? He should get that looked at?
The combat looks sorta meh. That's probably the onl;y thing holding me back from most Western RPGs, the combat, even if I like what the game overall is doing. Also why do you as warrior need to chop wood or gather resources? I never got that, seems it would be better if you paid some peasants to do that work for you.
But my speakers are muted so I can't hear it anyway.
