Next week is Pearl Jam week in the Rock Band Music Store, as their brand-new album, Backspacer, is released for the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Harmonix continues to jam as much Pearl Jam into Rock Band as they possibly can, with the band's 9th studio album, Backspacer, available for download on the day it's released.

Just when you thought you had all of the Eddie "Crazyeyes" Vedder you needed with the full album release of Ten, Harmonix slips in three nearly-new tracks into the game this week.

Pearl Jam fans are being asked to curate the live performances of the Seattle-based band's best, a cross-promotional project that will result in a forthcoming Rock Band release.

As of right now, Wii owners with working knowledge of the Rock Band 2 in-game music store can download and enjoy Pearl Jam's debut album Ten. It's just part of this week's new Wii additions.

The debut album from Seattle grunge-fathers Pearl Jam is coming to Rock Band owners next week, Harmonix and MTV Games confirmed today. Ten adds eleven new tracks, all of which make me feel positively ancient.

Announced during last night's Spike VGAs, Pearl Jam's mega-successful, mega-purple debut album "Ten" is to be made available as downloadable content for Rock Band in March 2009.
